The active ingredient in Creobic cream is Clotrimazole 1%w/w that mainly used to manage all fungal skin infections due to dermatophytes, yeasts, moulds, and other fungi. It is a white coloured water-miscible cream. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before starting any creobic cream, the treatment should be terminated immediately if any signs of hypersensitivity appears.
Creobic Cream is used to treat all fungal infections such as ringworm infections, athlete’s foot, paronychia (inflammation of the tissue surrounding fingernail or toenail), pityriasis versicolour (yeasts infection of the skin on chest and back), erythrasma (skin infection that causes brown, scaly skin patches), intertrigo (inflammation of skin folds), fungal nappy rash, candida vulvitis (vaginal infection) and candida balanitis (penis head infection). It is used by applying the cream thinly and evenly to the affected area 2-3 times a day for at least 1 month or 2 weeks after all signs of infection disappear to prevent relapse.
